Some photos of Indore you never knew!

Monsoon Magic

This Independence Day, I had some free time at my hand. This gave me the perfect excuse to play with my camera and yes, explore my city, just like a tourist.

Here are some photos Indore that you will never see in the travel catalogues or tourist guides.

I am not sure whether you have seen all of these places or not.

All the photos were shot by Canon G9 camera and were shot in Aperture Priority mode.

How do you know that you have succeeded?

Ralph Waldo Emerson says…

“To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the approbation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give of one’s self;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived —
This is to have succeeded.”

This weekend (July 25th to be precise), I got myself a two month old German Shepherd.

This might be an ordinary thing for many of you out there, but for for us, this was a life changing experience.

It sucks to be alone.

Specially if you have a hobby and you do not have somebody to share it with.

You see, it is not a job. You do not have deadlines, you do not have to commit yourself to it, you tend to ignore it till the day you simply forget that you had a hobby.

It is the same thing about photography.

It makes a lot of sense to be a part of a group that shares your hobby. It helps you to discuss your hobby, share your ideas, know about new developments, show off your skills, get motivated, learn new techniques and feel good about your hobby in general.
