“You cannot open a software company, your father is a govt employee and you are a Civil Engineer.”

“You are a housewife, and your life is limited to the kitchen, your children and your husband.”

“What creativity, you are a Medical Representative, so stick to selling.”

“Are you crazy, remember, you are a biology student, you haven’t touched maths since tenth standard and now you want to get into software and programming?”

I have seen people shape their destiny by what they know they can do, by the boundaries that either they or somebody else drew for them.

There are others, who are so “dumb” that they do not know what their boundaries should be and in the process, do a lot of things that are considered impossible for them.

Folks I want you to meet a few people today. These are ordinary people like you and me and yet they are a source of inspiration for all of us.

First I start with Tanveer Farooqui, he is a photographer from Indore, I met him on Orkut and then I started exploring his work.

He was a Medical Representative and had been destined to spend the rest of his life visiting one doctor to another. But he did not know that. He picked up a camera and look at what he is today.

Then I want you to check out this blog called Rang at http://rang-thecoloursoflife.blogspot.com/
Just imagine a typical Indian housewife and then have a look at her life at this and her other blogs.

Do you see the difference. Do you see the colors in her life that we all are searching for.

Then I want you to meet my wife. She is a biology graduate, no Math’s since her tenth, no computer awareness (forget expertise) till her graduation and yet she successfully completed her Masters in Computer Management and now is the director of a software company.

And finally, meet me :D, I am that Civil Engineer who stepped into the world of IT and then went on to be the director of the same company with my wife.

I guess, this is how this world grows. Some mavericks somewhere do not realize what they are destined to be and they simply go on to do the impossibles… things like finding a life inside their home or finding colors in the blacks and whites of life.

If you look around you, you will find hundreds of people like them. People who are so dumb that they do not realize what they are destined to be. They just follow their heart, enjoy the celebration called life and in the whole process go on to shape their destiny that even they could not have dreamed about.

So, now the question is… what are you destined to be?
